Join the Parish of the Holy Eucharist for the Extended Vigil of Pentecost on Saturday, June 7, at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main Street in Yarmouth.

Pentecost, celebrated 50 days after Easter Sunday, commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon Christ’s disciples and marks the end of the season of Easter. 

St. John Vianney Parish will celebrate Pentecost with eucharistic procession that will begin at the Fort Kent Town Hall on 416 West Main Street and will process to St. Louis Church, located at 26 East Main Street.

St. Michael Parish will hold a Solemnity of Corpus Christi procession and celebration on June 22 at St. Augustine Church, 75 Northern Avenue in Augusta.

In celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, there will be a eucharistic procession from Holy Family Church, 145 Pritham Avenue, to the Greenville Town Gazebo.

Following the 10 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland, there will be a Feast of Corpus Christi eucharistic procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Portland to bear public witness to our faith in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

In celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, St. Paul the Apostle Parish will hold a eucharistic procession that will begin at St. Matthew Church in Hampden following the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

In celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi on June 22, everyone is invited to participate in a eucharistic procession through the streets of Lewiston.

Vacation Bible School, with the theme "True North Totally Catholic," will be held June 23-27 from 8:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.

The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus takes place 19 days after Pentecost Sunday and on the Friday after the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi Sunday).

The Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord plans a daylong celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 27, at Holy Family Church in Old Town.

Bishop Ruggieri will celebrate Mass for the 100th Anniversary of the Sodality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Mass at 5:30 at St. Peter Church, 72 Federal Street in Portland.
