In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul's basilica status and of the Mark Thallander Foundation, a Fall Festival of Music will be held at the basilica on Thursday, October 23.

A Harvest Supper will be held at St. Louis Church in Limestone on Sunday, October 26, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

St. John Paul II Parish will hold a Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 26, at 6 p.m. at Holy Cross School, 436 Broadway in South Portland. Bring treats, decorate your trunk, and welcome children!

Bishop Ruggieri will preside as Fr. Brad Morin is installed as pastor of the Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord in Old Town.

A Mass of Comfort for those who have experienced a loss, whether of a loved one, a job, health, or a pet, etc., will be held at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville on October 29 at 6 p.m.  All are welcome.

In commemoration of All Souls’ Day, which the Catholic Church celebrates on November 2, and in recognition that every human person was created and is loved by God, Bishop James Ruggieri will preside over the rite of final commendation and committal of unclaimed remains a Calvary Cemetery in South Portland on Friday, October 31, at 10 a.m.

Father Michael Sevigny, OFM Cap., will preside at healing service at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street in Lewiston, on Friday, October 31, at 7 p.m. Please consider joining in this evening of prayer, reflection, and healing. All are welcome to attend.

St. Raphael Church’s Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 1, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the church, located at 6 Whipple Road in Kittery

St. Anthony of Padua Parish will hold a Christmas Fair on November 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., bringing together the gifts and talents of parishioners from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Windham and St. Hyacinth Church in Westbrook.

The Corpus Christi Christmas Craft Fair will be held Saturday, November 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the St. John Center, 11 St. John Street in Winslow. 

The Bells of St. Mary’s Christmas Craft Fair and café will be held Saturday, November 8, 8 a.m. to noon, at St. Mary Church, 144 Lincoln Street in Bath.

The Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord will hold its annual Red Sleigh Bazaar on November 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the hall of Holy Family Church, 429 Main Street in Old Town.

The Ignatian Spirituality Parternship of Maine welcomes Father Kevin O'Brien, SJ, for "Seeing with the Heart: A Guide to Navigating Life's Adventures."

St. Matthew Parish in Limerick will hold a Veterans Day Mass and breakfast on Tuesday, November 11, at 8 a.m. at the church on 19 Dora Lane in Limerick. The Mass will be offered for the intentions of active military personnel and veterans, living and deceased. Following Mass, there will be a breakfast in the parish hall during which all veterans present will be given a Veterans USA Flag lapel pin attached to a “Thank You for Your Service” card.

The Christmas fair at St. Charles Borromeo Church, part of All Saints Parish, will be held Saturday, November 15, 8 a.m. to noon, in the church hall at 132 McKeen Street in Brunswick.

St. John Vianney Parish will hold a Harvest Supper on Sunday, November 16, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Fort Kent Elementary School cafeteria.
