Papal Theologian Lecture

On Tuesday, August 19th at 6:30PM Papal Theologian, Fr. Wojciech Giertych, will visit and give a special lecture on the Eucharist in the Cathedral Chapel. Light refreshments will follow in the Cathedral Residence.

Fr. Giertych studied history in Poznań Poland before entering the Polish Province of the Dominican Order in 1975. Ordained in 1981, he began serving as formator and professor of moral theology in Kraków, Poland. Fr. Giertych has served as Theologian of the Papal Household since 2005 during the pontifcates of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, and currently lives in the Vatican. He specializes in moral theology and virtue theology.
