Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion - Winslow

Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate the Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion at three churches across Maine during the first weekend of Lent.

During the rite, those who will be baptized and/or receiving the other initiation sacraments at Easter will affirm their desire to fully enter into the life of the Church. The rite will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, during the 4 p.m. Mass at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Presque Isle, Sunday, February 22 during the 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Winslow, and Sunday, February 22 at 5 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland.
