Harvest Ball

The 18th Harvest Ball will be hosted by Bishop James Ruggieri on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland.

Enjoy an evening of dining and dancing to the music of the Jim Ciampi Band. Browse our silent auction tables, which will feature dozens of items from gift certificates to jewelry to books and more.

The ball, the largest social event put on by the Diocese of Portland, is a fundraiser for Harvest magazine, the official publication of the diocese. Harvest seeks to spread the message of God's love and mercy and support and uplift the many ministries and programs of the Church that serve communities and people of all ages throughout the state of Maine. 

In 2025, the  ball was attended by more than 400 people, and we hope you consider joining us to make the 18th Harvest Ball just as successful.
