Harvest Ball

The 17th Harvest Ball, hosted by Bishop James Ruggieri, was held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland. Thank you to all who supported the ball either through a sponsorship, a silent auction donation, attendance, or volunteering. The ball, the largest social event put on by the Diocese of Portland, is a fundraiser for Harvest magazine, the official publication of the diocese. Harvest seeks to spread the message of God's love and mercy and support and uplift the many ministries and programs of the Church that serve communities and people of all ages throughout the state of Maine. 

The ball was attended by more than 400 people and featured the music of the Jim Ciampi Band.

The Harvest Ball will return to the Holiday Inn By the Bay on October 24, 2026. Mark your calendars! We hope to see you there!
