Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Holy Cross School is seeking a dynamic full-time Middle School Social Studies teacher. Candidates should feel confident teaching World History, U. S. History and Geography to middle school students. There is an emphasis on American Civics.

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, certified professional who has a passion for student success and is interested in working in a team environment at the Middle School level. The ideal candidate will have a love for teaching Social Studies, but most importantly, have a love for middle school-aged students. We want people who are focused on building a welcoming classroom environment and who want to maximize student learning and engagement for all students. We are a small Catholic school in South Portland where we feel we are making a difference each day for our students.
